Watch: Seiya Suzuki Hammers Grand Slam in Colorado

It was only a matter of time before the Cubs’ bats heated up. Or at least that’s what we’ve all been muttering as a way to convince ourselves we should continue paying attention to what has become a very difficult season to watch.

And maybe, just maybe, this is the beginning of the end of all that bad play.

The Cubs were trailing 1-0 in the top of the 4th inning with the bases loaded, and up comes Seiya Suzuki, who absolutely hammered a no-doubt grand slam.
